Letter from Hugh Moises, Worshipful Master, Lodge of Unanimity, No. 298, Dover to Robert Leslie, Grand Secretary, apologising for the officers inability to attend the forthcoming meeting of Grand Lodge in March due to regimental duties and sending a list of joining or intiated Lodge members with a request for details about sending membership fees to Grand Lodge. Signed by Hugh Moises, Worshipful Master, Samuel Wood, Senior Warden, Charles Nicolls, Junior Warden and Thomas Clark, Secretary.

Lodge of Unanimity received a warrant from the Antients' Grand Lodge as No. 298A on 9 February 1796 to meet in the West Middlesex Militia based in Dover, Kent. The Lodge ceased to meet in c.1799 and was erased. Some members may have helped to form a Lodge meeting in the Eighty Fifth Regiment of Foot, Jersey, granted a warrant as No. 298B on 1 January 1801 [SN 1379].
