Directed under cover to Samuel Hill, M.P. at the Honble Mr. Hill's house, Cleveland Court, near St. James.
He thinks it best that judgement be signed upon the ejectment against Mr. Clayton's tenants "and then you will have it in your power to get possession of your mortgaged pls".
He gives details of the sums he has received in part payment of the interest owed by Clayton.
"I hear the person who outlawed Mr. Clayton is also proceeding this terme to gett possession of Mr. Clayton's estate in Roden or Staunton".
