Description

1 large album (60cmx 51cm) containing: (1) 1 loose 100cmx100cm fold out plan entitled “Canterbury Cathedral Cloisters: Plan of the Heraldic Bosses, Looking Up”, which includes analysis of the distribution of 864 bosses (numbered, shown by location and cross-referenced with those given/found by Willement and Griffin); (2) 29 pages with 148 photographs recording the heraldic bosses in the vault of the Great Cloister of Canterbury Cathedral (original photographs by Mr E C Fisher, curator of Maidstone Museum).
