Immediate source of acquisition (When and where the record was acquired from)
- Scores belonged to Hazel Wood, a singing and music teacher. Following Hazel Wood's death in 2016, one of her music students, Heidi Pegler, was asked to sort Wood's music library. Heidi Pegler donated these scores to the university archives after discovering that the British Music Collection contained many of John Guthrie scores.
