Description (What the record is about)
-
1/3 page, typescript
Is sending paper by [R.de P.] Daubeny, [C.W.] Bunn and [C.J.] Brown on Terylene. It is an interesting example of a very complete elucidation of the structure of a fibre. Wondered whether it might be more suited to Acta Crystallographica, but it breaks new ground in elucidating a fibre structure so completely, so he thinks publication in the Proceedings is justified. If Martin wants a statement that the work has not been done for a government department and is not secret, he should ask the authors for one.
