The papers were received by the Society from the estate of the late Mrs. V. Duffin.

The Duffin family ran a market gardening business from the Woolpack, Chapel Street, from about 1910 until at least 1940. Walter Duffin was succeeded in the business by Harry and Archibald Duffin who were presumably his sons.
