Description

This series consists of bundles mainly of correspondence, cause papers, legal bills etc. However, other papers associated with the legal cases such as rentals, surveys, court roll etc. are also to be found amongst the bundles. The series also includes a volume containing an English translation of the Statutes of the Realm from 1 Edward III to 20 Henry VI (Mi L 2/2) and a volume containing English translations of documents relating to Sherwood Forest (Mi L 3)

Many of the bundles in this section have not been examined in detail. The descriptions given here are, therefore, selective and the dates are approximate.
