Letter from Thos. Steward at Birmingham to John Webb, esq., at Sherborne: informed Mr. Bree that Mr. Barlow Evetts had a book in which he kept all Bennett's accounts in which would appear what he & Mr. Eales respectively had in hand; received a very angry letter from Mr. Bradley which he immediately send on to Webb's nephew Evetts desiring him to show it to Webb and Mr. Bree and that the money must be paid to Mr. Bradley; necessary to have recourse to book in order to ascertain proportion to be paid by Webb, Bree and Eales, for Mr. Evetts kept all the accounts himself, knew £1300 paid into court, etc.
