- communications from Senior Regional Officer regarding: use of basement of 100 High Street, Bedford as a shelter; Rescue Party equipment; anti-gas exercises; assistance of RAF stations; combined training in First Aid and rescue work; Wardens' Post at Steppingley Parish Room; WVS Offices at 86 Dunstable Street, Ampthill;

- communications from Ministry of Health regarding: National Service (Armed Forces) Acts - male personnel of First Aid Posts and Ambulance Service; deaths due to war operations; National Service Armed Forces Act 1939 - staff of Local Authorities; Government Evacuation Scheme - facilities in Northern Ireland and Eire; billeting at Leighton Buzzard;

- deferment of liability for military service;

- communications from Ministry of Home Security regarding: amendment to Defence Regulation 29B, Civil Defence (Employment & Offences) Order 1941; fire prevention at railway premises; air raid precautions in electro-plating shops;
