CR 2017/C3/1A Extracts about the life of James, Duke of Hamilton (1606-1649) from Lives of the Dukes of Hamilton. Note containing an extract from a letter of James I to Charles I his son referring to Hamilton as being "as variable and uncertaine as the moone"; from Harleian MS. No. CR 2017/6987. Written in the hand of Thomas Sharp of Coventry.
