Folio 380. Draft letter from the Local Government Board to James Saunders, Clerk to the Urban Sanitary Authority of East Dereham in the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union. They acknowledge receipt of the annual report for 1879 of the inspector of nuisances, together with statistical tables from the medical officer of health of the sickness and mortality in the East Dereham Urban Sanitary District during the year and certain comments which they are presuming were made by the medical officer for health on the vital statistics of the district for 1879.they have not, however, received from the medical officer of health a copy of the annual report required of him in their order of 11 November 1872. They request such a report to be compiled and forwarded to them, as soon as possible.
