Cullingford's source from 1949 onwards was his yearly desk diaries of which only 1949, 1950 and 1951 are now extant, - TR RAN/SP1/12-14. Typescript. Contents:
Ppl-18 1939-1948 Personalia for each year with details of Directorate, Staff and Major Events; Biographical Notes on Henry Deck, relative to Presentation to him by F J Atkins 1944(4 Apr); Sales Analysis of Manufactured Goods per annum 1946-1948; Nacton Foundry - Notes on Site and Equipment with relevant photograph numbers - "R" Series.
Pp19-28 1949 Personalia and Events; Foundry Tonnage; Sales Analysis of Manufactured Goods; Itinery of Mr and Mrs J W H Pawlyn's visit to South Africa 1949(29 Dec)-1950(10 Mar).
Pp29-35 1950 Personalia and Events; Foundry Tonnage; Sales Analysis of Manufactured Goods; Thereafter this pattern of contents is repeated for these years:
