TURC Ltd Financial Records

As a company limited by guarantee, TURC was governed by company law and had to keep appropriate financial records and also submit audited accounts to Companies House. This series contains the ledgers, bank statements etc for the Centre, initially as the sole company and from 1986 as the parent company of the TURC subsidiaries. YETRU and the subsidiaries also maintained financial records and submitted financial reports to the Management Committee and this series should therefore not be considered in isolation from the rest of the collection. They do however provide a useful overview of the operational issues and campaigning interests of TURC [or at least those generating income or causing expenditure].
