Folio 317. Draft letter from the Local Government Board to James Saunders, Clerk to the East Dereham Local Board in the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union. They acknowledge receipt of his letter of 8 January 1880 in which he enclosed the returns and vouchers for salaries paid to the Medical Officer of Health and Inspector of Nuisances for the Urban Sanitary District of East Dereham. In reply to his enquiry they state that the financial year terminates on the 31 March. They return the receipts [not included].
