Description

On 26 November Sa.106 engine, being submitted for a 150-hour Modification Approval test suffered a compressor failure. On 10 December Sa.7007 being submitted to a 150-hour Modification Approval test for parts from alternative suppliers, suffered a compressor failure at Brockworth. The meeting was called to review the action being taken to deal with the weakness in the first 3 rows of compressor rotor blade roots and to ensure that everything possible would be done to obtain a solution with in the minimum possible time
