He orders his debts & funeral expenses to be paid out of his personal estate and if deficient he charges his real estate with such deficiency; whereas by indres of lease & release of 28 & 29 April 1790; the release between Geo. Holland (1) Humphrey Sandford, Esq. of the Isle since decd. and Frances Sandford, spinster (2) John Scott, Esq of Bromley, Kent and George Holland, gent of Hereford since decd. (3) John Scott, Draper, of Shrewsbury and Samuel Holland, gent. of Tenbury, Worcs, since decd. (4) made previous to G.H.'s marriage with Frances Sandford, G.H. is entitled to the reversion in fee and in a certain messuage, land,tenement, farm and hereditaments at Kyrewood in the parish of Tenbury, Worcs. now in the holding of John Walker and whereas G.H. is seised in fee simple of the great tithes or tithe of corn and grain arising from the said farm (now rented by John Walker) and of a messuage and premises and several pieces of land in the parish of Tenbury now in the holding of James Nicholls, farmer, Edward Burnell, innholder, and Edward Clent, farmer; & G.H. is also seised in fee simple of a messuage or dwelling house and the gardens in Castle Street alias Raven St. in the parish of St. Mary in the town of Shrewsbury now in the holding of G.H.; he devises the messuage, lands & farm in the indres. of which he is seised of the reversion in fee after the determination of the several uses, and the tithes, messuage & several pieces of land in Tenbury and the messuage and gardens in Shrewsbury and all his other property to the use of his wife Frances for her life and after the determination of that estate during her life, he gives the same to Humphrey Sandford, Esq of the Isle and his heirs during her life, in trust to preserve the contingent uses permitting her to take the rents; and after her death he devises the same to the absolute use of his daughter Frances Holland, her heirs & assigns for ever, and in case she should die before she attains 21 or her day of marriage then he gives the estate in Tenbury to the use of his brother Thomas Holland and his assigns for his life, but the same not to be liable to any debt he has contracted or may contract, but solely for his own use and support and after his death or sooner determination of the estate then to the use of Humphrey Sandford and his heirs during the life of his brother Thomas Holland in trust to preserve the contingent uses permitting T.H. to take the rents & profits & after the death of Thomas Holland to the use of the 1st son of T.H. & his heirs & in default of such issue to the use of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th 5th and all other sons of T.H. and their heirs and in default of such issue he devises the same estates to the use of his brother the Rev. John Holland and his assigns for his life, and after the determination of that estate to the use of Humphrey Sandford for the life of J.H. to preserve the contingent uses, etc.; and after the death of J.H. to the use of the 1st son of J.H. and in default of such issue, to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & all other sons of J.H. and the heirs of such sons, and in default of such issue he devises the estates to the use of his brother Benjamin Holland and his assigns for his life, and after the determination he gives the same premises to the use of his nephew Thomas Edwards Mytton Holland, son of his late brother Samuel Holland decd. for his life & after the determination of that estate to the use of Humphrey Sandford and his heirs for the life of his nephew T.E. M.H. in trust to preserve the contingent uses etc. & after the decease of his nephew, he gives the estates to the use of the 1st son of T.E.M.H. & the heirs of his body and in default of such issue to the use of the 2nd 3rd, 4th 5th of the nephew, & the heirs of their bodies, and in default of such issue to Humphrey Sandford and his heirs to such uses on such trusts as hereinafter mentioned, i.e. to the use of the 1st son of his brother Benjamin Holland & the heirs of the body of such son, & in default of such to the use of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th & all other sons of B.H. & their heirs and in default of such issue to the use of the testator's right heir for ever; He gives to his wife Frances Holland all his household goods, plate, linen, furniture and all his personal estate, ready money, debts owing to him & all other his goods & chattels, and he nominates his wife to be sole executrix, so long as she lives and if she dies before his daughter Frances Holland attains 21 or be married, he appoints Barbara Sandford, spinster, sister to his wife, sole executrix during the minority of his daughter; he revokes all former wills and empowers his executrix to deduct costs and charges out of the money coming to their hands by virtue of this will.
