Docketed “Enclosing reply to Willcox & Anderson. Ditto to Mr. Herbert respecting 2 35 horse engines for Trinity. Making an alteration to Arrow’s working gear. Dubious about making arches for Trinity 35 horse. Are there any doubts of the sufficiency of the strength. Pleased the Beaver’s boiler is adopted. Enderwick selected to take charge of Devonport pumping engine. The man selected for the lathe will not accept the terms.”
