Incomplete series of travel journals kept by Samuel Whitbread II. The original numbering sequence has been retained, and so there are gaps in the series for "missing" volumes. The following detailed abstracts were made by a Record Office volunteer, Eleanor Moore, in 1989. The abstracts lists the main places visited, events on the tour, and references to local customs. The original spelling of place names has been retained.
