Will of Richd. How I made in consideration of his intended marriage with Susannah BrigginsA, In case testator dies without children:
To Susannah - £977, the same value which I am to receive as a portion. £980
To mother Ann How - 50 guineas for her own use & £200 for such uses as I shall appoint.
To Susannah, father Thos. How, mother Ann How, brother Thos. How jun., sister Mary Fage, her son Thos. Fage, cousin & brother Jos. Barber - each 1/7 part of remaining goods
To Susannah - furniture of one room she shall choose if I have a house furnished B. In case he dies leaving children:
To Susannah 1/3 of all estate
To be invested in land within 150 miles of London, or stock in the City of London, & interest to be used for maintenance & education of children - 1/3 of all estate.
To father Thos. How, brother Thos. How, sister Mercy Fage & nephew Thos. Fage - £40 each.
To mother Ann How - £200. remainder to be divided between Susannah & children.
