Letters to Miss Martha Noble, daughter of John Noble.
Among the correspondents are her sister Pye, Noble Wallwyn Pytts, Ralph Marsh, Lewis Clive and Henry Clive (in the settlement of the Hellens estate). Henry Shaw, agent, Mr. Freeman, receiver of rents from 1769, George Wallwyn Shepheard, Mrs. Leech, daughter of Ralph and May Marshe and niece to Martha, Mrs. May Jones, another niece, daughter of William and Elizabeth Pytts, William Tupsley, Edward Wallwyn, grandson of William and Elizabeth Pytts (Martha's great-nephew), J. Reach of Moor Court, etc.
For the latter part of this period Martha Noble was living at Welland Court, Upton-on-Severn, Worcs. and paying visits to Great Malvern where she stayed with a Mrs. Williams.
A large number of the letters concern settlement of the estates, policies for timber felling.
