Annual returns giving names, professions and residence of members of the Lodge of Perseverance [Antients] and general correspondence relating to the running of the lodge. Includes petitions for relief, applications for warrants and letters concerning excluded members. Some correspondence co written by the Lodge of Patience No. 166 [erased], Norwich.

Administrative / biographical background

The Lodge of Perseverance was established in 1795 and met at the Turkey Cock, Elm Hill, St. Simonds, Norwich. The lodge was named in 1817 and has had a number of meeting places. However, it now meets at the Masonic Hall, Norwich.
