These deeds are not part of the main group of estate deeds; 941/82/1 was acquired by the 2nd Marquis of Bristol, from an antiquary's collection; 941/82/3 is probably a stray from the deeds of the Lincolnshire estates of the Earls of Bristol. 941/82/4 - 10 were purchased by the Revd. Sydenham H.A Hervey from dealers, and were sent by him to Lord Bristol in 1930
