Four quarterly bundles of press copy letters by James Brown in London, from January to December 1846. These bundles have been extensively damaged by water. They are too fragile to be examined, so they have not been listed and may not be consulted in the Research Room. 1st and 2nd bundles – B&W Box 44/9. 3rd and 4th bundles – B&W Box 44/10.

3rd Bundle – Jul.—Sep.
The letters for Jul. are on the bottom, those for Aug. in the middle and those for Sep. on top. However within each month the letters are in chronological order.
4th Bundle – Oct.—Dec.
The letters for Oct. are on the bottom, those for Nov. in the middle and those for Dec. on top. However within each month the letters are in chronological order. -
