Thomas John, master, and Thomas John, jun., of the sloop Two Brothers of Penzance, testified that they shipped at Liverpool, on 14 November, 980 bushels of white salt, duty paid at Liverpool, to be carried to St Ives for George Blewett of Marazion, merchant, of which 80 bushels were lost in stormy weather.

David Williams, master, and David Atkins, mariner, of the sloop Loyal Ann, testified that they shipped, at Bristol on 20 December, 560 bushels of white salt, duty paid, to be carried to Looe for James Tuckett, merchant and company, of which 120 bushels were lost in stormy weather.
