Description

Between Humphrey Walcot of Bitterley on one part and Richard Fleming of Shadwell, gent on the other.

Agreed that Humphrey Walcott, in consideration of £400 paid to him by Richard Fleming, and £2000 to be paid to him by Fleming has sold to Fleming and his heirs all that manor of Sibdon Carwood with royalities, escheats, liberties, privileges, commons, courts, profits of courts pertaining to the lordship or manor; that messuage called the Hall or Old Castle in Sibdon, with all buildings, barns, lands and arable, meadow and pasture, etc., with appurtenances, now in the possession of Richard Bird; the parochial chapels of Sibdon and Edgton and the impropriations of Sibdon and Edgton, with all tithes, obventions, etc. pertaining and glebe lands in the parishes and the advowsons of the chapels; that messuage, tenement and lands in the forest of Clun called Comb Moch with common of pasture and tenements belonging, except the tithes of all sorts from several messuages, cottages, lands and tenements sold to Thomas Bird of Westminster, viz. one messuage in possession of John Carter, of late granted by lease to Thomas Bird, one messuage in the possession of John Oliver snr., one messuage in the possession of John Griffiths, one messuage in the possession of Edward Bird jnr., one cottage in the possession of Edward Russell.

Agreed that Humphrey Walcot for the said considerations will make by 25 March of next year a valid conveyance and assurance to Richard Fleming in fee simple of above premises with sufficient deeds and evidences.

Agreed by Richard Fleming to pay £2000 with interest for premises before 25 March of next year at the rate of 4%.
