Release: for £48. 4. 8: (i) William Hornby of Poulton, gent., and Richard Wilson of Newton, gent., (ii) Edward Fletewood of Rossall, esq., and (iii) John Lytham of Staynall, marriner -- a messuage in Staynall and closes called the Clifton Bonk, Comley, Marrells Meadow, Marrell, a rood in the Toadmire, ½ a rood in the Spenn Meadow, Cliffe, Bonk, Marsh and 2yards or gardens (4ac.) late in the tenure of James Carter, then of Thomas Carter of Mill in Staynall, yeoman, decd; also the Marsh in Staynall late in the tenure of Robert Boyes (½ac.); part of the manor of Preesall cum Hackensall vested in Trustees by Act of 11 Geo.I. -- Witn. Robert Loxham, Richard Tennant, Heraldic seals.
