Republic of Ireland, southwest coast: County Cork to County Clare: Cape Clear to Loop Head
No [Number] 11. '[A] rough Plan of certain Triangles projected on the Southern and Western Coasts of Ireland for the Particular Purpose of ascertaining Latitude and Longitude'. Survey shows coastline, hydrography, topography, land marks, sight lines, remarks (including variations dated September 1817 and May 1818) and explanatory key (including reference to the positions of Admiral [Sir John] Knight and J W [John William] Norie). Includes decorative cartouche and border. Colour manuscript. Latitude and longitude indicated; north point with compass indicator and magnetic north variation; no scale shown. Surveyed 'by Captain M [Martin] White Navy per order of yr [their] Lordships dated 23 March 1818'
