Description

Miscellaneous estate accompts, etc., of William, Earl and Marquis of Hertford, Duke of Somerset, and Frances, his wife; 1617-1674. In addition to many other papers, the following are included:-

1. "A noate of the joynter made unto Francis, Countes of Hertford". [1617]. f.1.

2. Rents, fines, etc, received by H. Crompton for the Earl of Hertford, "since his Lordships goinge to Yorke", due at Mich. 1640. f.3.

3. Rentals of Walton, Cheddard, Frome, Feltham, Horrington, Lullington and Monksham, co. Som.; 1646-47. f.31.

4. Receipts and payments in Somersettshire, Ao Dni 1647". f.43.

5. "A perticular of my Ladies receipts", 25 Mar. 1647-29 Sept. 1648. f.58.
