Piece of land (3 roods) in New Fishbourne, part of the piece of land distinguished by No. 10 in New Fishbourne parish in the plans and book of reference deposited with the Clerk of the Peace [W.S.R.O., QDP/W176] for the purposes of the London Brighton and South Coast Railway Act 1877 [Local Act 40 & 41 Vict. cap. xxviii], and also part of the enclosure No. 136 on the Tithe Map of New Fishbourne parish

Recites: (i) assignment, 27 Apr.1880, to the said Railway Company, for the residue of a term of 1,000 years granted 2 Nov. 1605 from Sir William Bowyer and w.Mary of (inter alia) the above land; (ii) that the above land is not required for the purposes of the said Company; (iii) that the said Company have agreed with (b), who is the owner of the land immediately adjoining, for the sale for the residue of the term of 1,000 years, as above
