Adrian Horn is novelist and Cultural Historian. Between 2001-2004, he researched a PhD at the Institute of Cultural Research at Lancaster University examining the impact of the introduction of the jukebox on British youth culture, 1945-1960. The research included collecting the memories of those who experience the boom in teenage culture after World War II.This research was published in the thesis ?Americanisation and youth culture: juke boxes and cultural fusions, with special reference to northwest England? in 2004. The research was later published as Adrian Horn (2009) Juke box Britain: Americanisation and youth culture, 1945-60. Manchester: Manchester University Press.
