Draft copy letter of William White, Grand Secretary to Alexander Shirreff, 13 Church Street, St Ann's, Soho, London sending the Country Stewards a copy of the text of Sir Peter Parker's letter stating that the Country Feast cannot be held until the latter can attend in person. Parker is unable to attend this year and does not wish to be associated with an event that might disturb the harmony of the Society.

Country Steward's Lodge was granted a warrant by the Moderns' Grand Lodge on 25 July 1789 and met as No. 540 at the Guildhall Coffee House, Gresham Street, London. In 1790 the Lodge moved to the Freemasons' Tavern, Great Queen Street, London. The Lodge was renumbered as No. 449 in 1792. The Lodge made its last payment in 1799 and lapsed about 1802.
