The Earl of Powis grants to Wm Groves the messuage and lands belonging in the Townships of Great Weston alias Priest Weston in the parish of Chirbury (Arthur Williams); the small messuage and lands belonging in Great Weston (Owen Evans); other messuage and lands belonging in Little Weston, Chirbury (John Jones); the dwellinghouse and garden in Great Weston village late rented by the overseers of the poor of Chirbury (Richard Butler).
To William Groves, to the use of Wm Groves and Thomas Butler and the heirs of William Groves, forever, paying to the Earl for the farm in the holding of Arthur Williams 2/6 p.a., and for the farm in the holding of Owen Evans 2d p.a., being ancient chief rents, to be paid at Michaelmas yearly.
