SSC/130/1 - Letters to Mrs Tweedie: 1 May 1892 answering her questions about himself; Lipaker, 7 Jan. 1893. Partly copied on piece of card now with letter but formerly part of mount around a photograph of Nansen (photograph filed originally in the Map Room but currently in the Picture Library Collections at X0296/022532).

SSC/130/2 - Sketches by A.E. Boyd and H.M. Paget of Nansen at the Royal Societies Club in Feb. 1897. These items are filed as ***OVERSIZE***

SSC/130/3 - Small sketch of polar bear made by Nansen in 1927 for Sir Charles and Lady Webster.

SSC/130/4 - Proposal by Sir Clements R. Markham for a grant to F. Nansen put to Council of RGS in 1892. Remarks by G.H. Richards on Nansen’s paper read before the Geographical Society of Norway in February 1890, and on Nansen’s paper of November 1892.

SSC/130/5 - Typed copy of introduction to Nansen’s ‘Farthest North’. Together with covering letter from donor A. Doubleday 26 Sept. 1913.

SSC/130/6 - ‘Explorer Nansen’s reception in Rouen’. MS by Georg Yonflier, 10 Aug. 1903 (90pp).

SSC/130/7 - Two letters from Nansen to Sir Napier Shaw of the Roy. Met. Society: 29 Dec. 1929 & 30 Jan. 1930.

SSC/130/8 - Three copies printed ‘Order of Proceedings’ for RGS Albert Hall Nansen Meeting of 8 Feb. 1897. One copy of printed sketch map, printed, prepared for the same meeting (one further copy passed on to Map Room but no reference found on online catalogue at 04/07). Three printed leaflets giving words of songs written in honour of Nansen, in Norwegian, 1896. One copy of printed ‘Program for Nansen-Expeditionens Modtagelse’, Kristiania 1896. (Latter item includes portraits of expedition members, a picture of the Fram and the music and words for a song performed at the festivity.
