Until 1930 this was the Board of Guardians of Shoreham Union, whose minute books are preserved under the reference G9/1a. Thereafter it was run by the Public Assistance Committee of East Sussex County Council and by its Shoreham Institution and Southlands Hospital Sub-Committee (see C/C11/66/58-67 for minutes)
