Black half-leather album, 245x315mm, containing prints, postcards, newspaper cuttings, greetings cards, theatre programmes, invitations, letters and other ephemera. The majority of the Indian photographs are duplicated elsewhere in the Dunlop Smith Collection. Prints 1-4 Studies of cats and dogs and a reproduction of a painting of Christ. Prints 5-25 Views at Chail including exteriors and interiors of the Residency, the visits of Sir Charles Rivaz and the Maharaja of Patiala, a gymkhana and group portraits. Prints 26-27 Family snapshots at Ballantrae, Scotland. Prints 28-29 A view inside Edinburgh Castle and a painting of Mary Queen of Scots. Prints 30-33 Reproductions of paintings of composers. Print 34 Snapshot of J. R. Dunlop Smith with Indian army officers in camp at the 1903 Delhi Durbar. Print 35 Sir Charles Rivaz opening the memorial to the 36th Sikhs, Firozpur. Prints 36-39 Portraits of the Maharaja of Patiala with Lord Curzon and respective officials and views of Curzon's unveiling of the statue of Queen Victoria in Patiala. Prints 40-41 Portraits of the Raja of Nabha with Lord Curzon and respective officials.
