Folios 286-287. Draft letter from the Local Government Board to James Saunders, Clerk to the East Dereham Local Board in the Mitford and Launditch Poor Law Union acknowledging his letter of 9 December 1879 and giving sanction until 29 September 1890 to the reappointment of Henry Bird Vincent as medical officer of Health for the East Dereham Urban Sanitary District, with a salary of £25 per annum. They request that immediately upon the expiration of this period of reappointment they are informed of any proposed future arrangements in respect of this office. In respect of the reappointment of William Henry Nankivell as inspector of nuisances, a reply is required to number 17 on the form; this relates, as to whether he agrees to give the sanitary authority one months' notice prior to resigning from office or pay a forfeit.
