Description

Collection of 70 loose black-and-white gelatin silver prints, taken by Theon Wilkinson while accompanying the blind New Zealand general, Sir Clutha Mackenzie on a tour of Nepal in 1947. Subjects include temple architecture in Kathmandu, street scenes, landscapes and portraits. The majority of the prints are uncaptioned, although a few have identifying notes in Theon Wilkinson's hand on the reverse.
