This series contains certificates of redemption of tithes. These certificates record the payment by the landowner of capital value of the tithe or rent-charge to the incumbent vicar or rector of the parish as a final settlement for a particular piece of land. Each certificate refers to the numbers assigned to each piece of land in the corresponding tithe plan or apportionment see DL/TI/A. In this catalogue list where land plan numbers have been given in brackets, these are the original certificate numbers.
The certificates relate to the following parishes:
Acton, Ashford, Friern Barnet, Bedfont, New Brentford, Chiswick, Cowley, Cranford, Ealing, Edgware, Edmonton, Finchley, Great Greenford, Little Greenford see Perivale, Hampton, Hanwell, Harefield, Harlington, Hendon, Hornsey, Ickenham, Isleworth, Kingsbury, Laleham, Littleton, South Mimms, Northholt, Perivale, Ruislip, Shepperton, Staines, Great Stanmore, Little Stanmore, Stanwell, Tottenham, Twickenham, Whitchurch see Little Stanmore, and Willesden.
