Description

Colonial Service / Administration Committee was appointed on 29 Jul 1942 'to make preliminary enquiries as what practical points could be put before the Colonial Office' with a view to making a deputation with the Secretary of State for the Colonies. Philippa Strachey was Chair of the Committee.

Consists of: correspondence, minutes of meetings, reports, publications regarding the employment of women in the Colonial Office
