Company was established on 29 Aug 1901 in Birmingham by Vickers, Sons and Maxim. They manufactured many electrical appliances including various type of electric motor and lighting sets, insulators etc.
In 1914 the company manufactured the 'Stellite', a new light car, in conjunction with Wolseley Tool and Motor Car Company.
Vickers put the factory under the ownership of Wolseley Motors on 30 Sep 30 1919.
