Black full-leather album, 233x295mm, in poor condition with broken binding and brittle pages, compiled by Captain L.H. Abbott of the 11th Rajputs. The photographs include a few commercial portraits and views but are mainly amateur snapshots (probably by Abbott), all with handwritten captions. The album also contains various non-photographic items such as landscape drawings and caricatures by Abbott, and Staff College greetings cards. Print 1 Group portrait, Staff College, Quetta, Dec 1908 (all named). Prints 2-3 Staff College owls. Prints 4-12 Staff College buildings, including L.H. Abbott's bungalow and stables. Prints 13-19 Portraits at shooting camp, Tando Bago, Xmas, 1908. Prints 20-24 Portraits at picnic, Ziarat, July 1909. Prints 25-39 Portraits in the married quarters, Staff College, Quetta.
