BIRMINGHAM DIOCESE

The core of this collection is the five series of correspondence numbered Z0001/2/8/ and in particular the correspondence to the Rev. and later Canon, Monsignor, Provost, Vicar General and Titular Bishop of Flaviopolis, Michael Francis Glancey, Diocesan Oeconomous. Another series consist of office working papers like the Circular and Pastoral letters and the diocesan administrative papers. Other series have been artificially created like the papers which relate to Missions and Parishes, the schools and seminaries papers and the section titled miscellaneous. I believe that a number of these papers were originally enclosed with correspondence but because this correspondence is no longer extant, they have been left in limbo.
