Vernon; Earl of Portland; Jean de Robethon, Secretary to Portland; Earl of Galway; H. May, second Secretary in Ireland; Arnold Joost van Keppel, Earl of Albemarle; John Macky, Director of Packets at Dover; Edward Villiers, Earl of Jersey, Sec. of State (14 May); Will. Blathwayt; Charles Berkeley, Earl of Berkeley; Charles Montague, Earl of Manchester, Ambassador at Paris; Abraham Stanyan, Prior's successor at Paris. Many letters relate to an attempt to supersede Prior as Secretary for Ireland on the ground of continued absence.
