(2) 4 April 1766. A levy made to raise the sum of £6. 18s. 4½d. to pay John Glover, the carpenter, and Hands and Dod the blacksmiths, from 5 Dec. 1763 - 4 April 1766 at 6s. 9d. per yard land - includes John Webb, 3 yard lands £1. 0s. 3d.; John Webb, 4 yard land (Widow King's 1½d. in the shilling taken out) £1. 3s. 7½d.; Mrs. Webb 4 yard land £1. 7s.; Widow King's 1½d. in the shilling out of Mr. Webb's 4 yard land, 3s. 4½d. The blacksmith's bill was £1. 16s. 4½d. and the carpenter's bill £5. 3s. 0½d., totalling £6. 19s. 5d.; the discrepancy of 1s. 0½d. between the levy and the bills was paid to Glover in the next bill. Note that "this money was took to the levy and paid this day by the parish." 19 March 1767

(3) John Glover for £2. 12s. 1½d.: Parish account - mending Dockem Bridge 6d.; putting 12 rails in Dockem, 8s. 6d.; repairing gates, putting stile up, bridge in the turnpike road, etc. Note that bill paid out of levy made by Mr. Webb. 19 March 1767
