Administrative / biographical background

Dilys Dean was the daughter of the Baptist Minister at Heponstall Slack, a village above Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire. The tapes concentrate on her childhood and also on her later work with the Manchester, Salford and District Family Planning Association and Manchester, Salford and District Marriage Guidance Council.
