These volumes were found by the depositor in an attic and are believed to relate to Gravesend because of the street names in the addresses in B4. There is a reference to 'High Street Shops' in B2 which may suggest that the business operated from more than one premises. The grocery business included dairy produce, dried fruit, spices, meat, tobacco and dry goods.
