The Lodge of Unanimity and Sincerity No. 261 was established in 1788 and met at the Swan Inn, Ditton Street, Ilminster, Somerset. In 1788 the lodge was named the Lodge of Unanimity and was renamed the Lodge of Unanimity and Sincerity in 1797. In 1797 the Lodge moved from Ilminster to Taunton, Somerset, meeting at the London Inn in East Street. The lodge now meets at the Masonic Hall, The Crescent, Taunton.
