Description (What the record is about)
-
The depositors, established in 1850, were a noted producer of picture postcards, and it is presumed that these black and white prints were taken from negatives used to create postcards. Some are identified by captions on the photographs. They all appear to have been taken in the 1890s - 1900s: architectural details have dated some more narrowly.
