New bridge to be built over Newlyn river where former bridge (which was washed away) stood according to Mr James Chapell's plan and specification. Tenders to be received at adjourned session to be held at Red Lion Inn in Truro on Wednesday 18 Feb. next.
Floors of sleeping cells and passage in women's ward at Bodmin gaol to be relaid with 1¼" deal on oak joists.

Salt Duty
Holland Hutchings, master, and John Crapp, seaman, of sloop 'Betsey' of Padstow stated on oath that from 27 to 30 Aug. last they shipped at Gaston, in port of Liverpool, 600 bushels of British salt to carry it to Falmouth on account of Richard Thomas. On voyage there was a storm which caused loss of 222 bushels of salt: Collector of Excise to make allowance for duty paid.

Holland Hutchings, master, and John Crapp, seaman, of sloop 'Betsey' of Padstow, stated on oath that from 27 to 30 Aug. last they shipped at Gaston in port of Liverpool 15 tons of British salt, to carry it to Truro, on account of William Traer. A storm, during course of voyage, caused loss of 231 bushels of the salt: Collector of Excise to make allowance for duty paid.
Rev. Charles Mayson, D.D. appointed visiting magistrate to gaol at Launceston.
