Description (What the record is about)
-
Copies of theological treatises or lectures perhaps delivered in a continental university or seminary in the early seventeenth century. The manuscript belonged to Richard Mede, whose ownership inscription is on f.iv and whose 'Cathologus librorum meorum' is entered on f.320v. The inclusion in this catalogue of 'Tres libri S. Theologiae manuscripti Lutetiae' and'Tres libri cursus philosophici manuscripti Rothomagi' suggests a common provenance for this volume and MSS/123-6 and 155.
The contents are:
Tractatus de Sacramentis. Incipit: Recte hic de Sacramentis post Superiorem Tractatum de Incarnatione (ff.1-294).
Disputatio de Indulgentiis (ff.295-320).
Tractatus de Purgatorio (ff.323-342v).
The old number F.23.
343 ff.
